Arrow of Silence

The story travels through the strained relationship of the Kauravas and Pandavas, through the lens of some lesser-known incidents from the Mahabharatha, spanning from their childhood days to the Kurukshetra war. The play is narrated by celestial beings who are keeping tabs on the constant one-upmanship between the cousins vying for the throne.

Duryodhana’s will to bully his way to the top, come what may, is presented, and how his desperation to cling onto victory come with grave costs. The play wishes to tackle the problem of bullying, by addressing the source of this vile act. We perceive bullying as an act by the tormentor on their victim but seldom discuss the real problem – the silent bystanders who let this happen.
