Mutsin and the Caterpillar

Mutsin and the Caterpillar is a story of nature, discovery, compassion and friendship between a young girl who lives in the Nilgiri hills in South India and the many colourful caterpillars and butterflies around her home. The story follows her love for nature and her curiosity to find out more, especially when her butterfly friends stop visiting her favourite guava tree. It also includes a carefully shaped conversation about consent and permission. The character names celebrate their intrinsic Indian-ness, with an element of fun!
